Doikk N'ats is the level head of the Intergalactic Jizz group called the Modal Nodes. As such, his job is to keep tabs on his Modal Compatriots. This however, was not always the case. In his youth, Doikk N'ats and Saelt "Yakface" Marae cruised the sectors, looking for cheap thrills and attractive females - bipedal or otherwise. It was not uncommon for the pair to go on benders that lasted days at a time, only to awaken on the bridge of an intergalactic cruiser, dressed in a stolen geeky black and red uniform. One day, after one of these benders, Yakface found himself inducted into the Hunters Guild, an association of the most ruthless bounty hunters in the galaxy, and Doikk found himself on a garbage barge to the unpleasant side of Nal Hutta. Each believing the other to be dead, Yakface and Doikk moved on with their lives, with Doikk swearing to never again lose touch with reality. He hooked up with an aspiring Kloo horn player named Figrin D'an to create what would eventually come to be known as the Modal Nodes. After a job gone bad, the group became marked for death by Jabba the Hutt. The only alternative was to lay low in the Mos Eisley Cantina until they saved enough credits to go into hiding. Years passed. Eventually, a spy named Garindan learned of the death mark on the Nodes, and betrayed them to Jabba the Hutt. Only days before his death, Jabba initiated a hostile takeover of the Mos Eisley Cantina, in order to exact his revenge. Upon hearing this, Doikk sprang to action, stole back the group's instruments from Labria, took their severance pay, and ran like Hell. After traveling to the Mos Espa Spaceport, the Nodes ran into a ruthless bounty hunter employed by Jabba. This bounty hunter was none other than Saelt "Yakface" Marae. Yakface was ecstatic upon seeing his old buddy Doikk for the first time in a decade. Yakface then informed the Nodes of the expiration of the death mark, and joined them on their intergalactic hijinks. For the most part, the Nodes and Yakface became lost in the swanky clubs of the Wernes Sector, but were recently spotted for weeks at a time in the audience of "Genny J'onzzz Live" an local talk show broadcast over the newly-reistablished Holonet.
